About the Gympie Region Fire Ant Group

The Gympie Region Fire Ant Group was formed to address a growing the growing concern of a number of Queensland farmers, landholders, agronomic advisors, regional stakeholders and supporting scientific contributors increasingly concerned about the expanding impact of Red Imported Fire Ants across productive agricultural regions of Queensland. As a public relations initiative, we focus on sharing vital information, fostering community engagement, and advocating for effective, responsible management strategies within our beautiful region.
